International law firm Hedman Partners is co-hosting a fashion seminar at Tallinn Fashion Week on October 25th, with presentations on international fashion branding given by the most famous Estonian lingerie designer Kriss Soonik-Käärmann and Hedman Partners lawyer Toomas Seppel.
Merlin Salvik from Hedman Partners said that the seminar aims to help Estonian fashion designers to reach higher in developing their brands and selling to export markets. “Kriss Soonik’s phenomenal success in London will hopefully inspire other young fashion designers in Estonia and it is our mission to act as a supportive partner to them when taking their first steps towards global markets,” noted Salvik. “We are proud to bring Kriss’ talent back to her homeland as part of Tallinn Fashion Week, because by combining her practical experience with Toomas’ expert advice, other talents will also understand the risks and opportunities associated with international markets even better,” added Salvik.
Hedman Partners’ intellectual property rights expert Toomas Seppel will give a presentation on how to name a design product on export markets and what risks may be lurking in the shadows in such cases.
The seminar will be held at Salme Culture Centre on October 25th from 11.00 until 14.30.
