International legal directory The Legal 500 has published its rankings of law firms 2019. According to the latest results, Hedman Partners has been once again listed among the best law firms in Estonia in its key practice areas – Commercial, Corporate and M&A and Intellectual Property, IT and Telecoms.
Recent highlights include advising SprayPrinter on its re-domiciliation from Estonia to the US, a matter which was led by managing partner Merlin Seeman. Also, practice co-head Valter Võhma recently led the firm’s advice to Palleter on its cooperation agreements with TPG Capital pertaining to the Sixfold platform.
Toomas Seppel is the head of the Intellectual Property practice and recently drafted IP transfer and licensing documents for Enterprise Estonia and defended the Estonian Film Foundation in a precedent-setting case pertaining to the liability of a film’s financial backers in IP disputes.
