Gelatex, an Estonian-based startup enabling cell-cultured meat production, raised €1.2m in seed funding. The money will be used to further develop the technology behind their lab-manufactured meat.
Hedman assisted the client with the negotiations of the investment documents, composing the documents required as conditions precedents and the actions needed to complete the financing round.
The funding round was led by Change Ventures (Estonia) and by Crosslight Partners (Sweden) as well as several other angel investors from Finland, Germany, USA, and Brazil.
Gelatex Technologies is a material technology startup specialized in the development and production of nanofibrous materials for various applications such as cultured meat, wound care, tissue engineering, energy storage, and filtration.
