Hedman Partners teams up with Solaride

Hedman Partners is happy to support and advise Solaride on different legal issues arising on their innovative and exciting journey working on a real solution to target climate change by building the very first solar-powered car in Estonia.

Solaride is a non-profit student-run project that is focusing on transforming the transportation and renewable energy sectors in order to create a better future by supporting the goal of making solar power the mainstream.

Solaride’s team consists of ambitious and talented students from Estonia’s top universities, who are mentored by the best Estonian engineers and experts in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.

Once they have built the car, it will be tested in extreme conditions by racing 3000 km through the Australia deserts. In 2021 they will take part in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, racing alongside the world’s top universities.

In addition to Hedman Partners, Solaride is supported by Auve Tech, Magnetic MRO, Solarstone, Sebacom Metals, Palmse Mehaanikakoda LLC, Intar Metal Works, University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonian University of Life Sciences, TTK University of Applied Sciences, AdGorilla, Marat and Suva.
