Hedman Partners to sponsor the Latitude59 conference this year as well

Estonia has the unique opportunity to host a wave of major technology events every spring – one of the most important of these is the Latitude 59 conference, bringing over 60 prominent speakers from around the world to Tallinn for the ICT week. This year’s Latitude59 will bring together 1500 startups and investors on May 31st and June 1st and Hedman Partners is privileged to once again partner with Latitude59 by sponsoring both the startup pitching events and the closing reception.

The pitching event will be held in two stages this year, giving both seed-level startups and already established companies the opportunity to impress investors. Hedman Partners will provide altogether 5000 EUR worth of legal advice to the winners of both stages, this valuable professional assistance is sometimes even more cherished by startups than cash injections. Nine emerging technology firms will have to prove their uniqueness to a select group of investors, entrepreneurs and innovation leaders. Hedman Partners will also be providing on-the-spot legal advice in the Latitude59 networking area with 30-minute mentoring sessions for pre-booked applicants (available through Latitude59 app’s networking module).

Hedman Partners managing partner Merlin Salvik said that this year’s collaboration with Latitude59 is a milestone for the law firm, as in addition to partnership with Latitude59 it is an honour to be part of Pitch@Palace founded by Duke of York. “We shall contribute towards making this year’s Latitude59 the best possible startup conference in the region and will provide startups with easy access to the best legal know-how available,” commented Salvik. “It’s important for Hedman Partners to be present where we are needed the most.”
