Hedman advised rent-to-buy a car firm Planet42 in raising $18 million

Hedman advised Planet42 in their recent investment round, where the company raised $18 million in equity to accelerate global expansion. The round was co-led by the previous round lead investor, Naspers, and a new investor ARS Holdings, with participation from existing investors.

Founded in Tallinn, with operations in South Africa and Mexico, Planet42 is a diverse group of ambitious people who share the belief that mobility is often the quickest way to improve people’s lives. The company was founded by Eerik Oja and Marten Orgna, who moved to South Africa from Estonia to launch Planet42.

Hedman assisted the client in equity financing, providing assistance in the negotiations, drafting of the documents and supporting in actions needed to complete the round. The client was advised by senior associate Kati Pino and assisted by associate Anastasia Miller.
