We are thrilled to announce that Hedman Law Firm is continuing its partnership with Cleantech Estonia for ClimateLaunchpad. ClimateLaunchpad is a globally recognised green business ideas competition and mentorship program that plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainable innovation and supporting early-stage startups in their mission to combat climate change.
Since 2019, we have struck a blooming partnership with Cleantech Estonia, supporting ClimateLaunchpad activities and witnessing their impact on the Estonian green solution ecosystem. Indeed, we are happy to extend our partnership to the 2023 edition. “The primary objective of ClimateLaunchpad is to identify and nurture innovative solutions that address pressing environmental challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future. The competition follows a rigorous selection process, starting with national and regional rounds, culminating in a global Grand Final,” says our senior associate Kati Pino.
“Participants receive mentorship from industry experts, business coaches, legal advisors, and seasoned entrepreneurs who help them sharpen their value propositions, refine their business plans, and navigate the complexities of the green market. This support is instrumental in helping startups overcome potential hurdles and take their ideas to market,” our partner Toomas Seppel adds, highlighting why we are joining forces with them again.
Since 2016, Cleantech Estonia has successfully nurtured numerous startups in entrepreneurial development programmes, and specifically, Cleantech Estonia for ClimateLaunchpad has gone on to achieve remarkable success. Previous participants have secured funding, received international recognition, and made significant contributions to the green economy. Also, the program’s alumni network continues to thrive, with successful entrepreneurs serving as mentors and ambassadors, actively supporting the next generation of green innovators. Among the Alumni are our very own clients BugBox, Rewear, and Ari Care.
In line with this year’s cooperation, Kati recently delivered a workshop to the participants on the legal aspects that startups need to consider as they go along. Again, we are delighted to share that Kati will be serving as a distinguished member of the jury at the finals, contributing her legal expertise and insights to the evaluation process. In addition, Hedman Law Firm is proud to continue its tradition of awarding a prize in the form of legal services worth thousands of euros to the winners. We cordially invite everyone to join us on October 4th, 2023, at the Estonian finals taking place in Tallinn and cheer for the incredible startups advancing the green revolution. At Hedman Law Firm, we are deeply committed to supporting green startups and fostering the growth of the cleantech ecosystem. We anticipate continuing our partnership with Cleantech Estonia in the years to come as we strive to create a more environmentally conscious world by supporting clean and innovative technologies.
