Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can apply for trademark registration grants through the European Intellectual Property Office.
The grant covers:
- 75% of your EU trademark application fees, meaning you can get 637,5 EUR back from registering your EU trademark (the basic fee is 850 EUR). The fee for the second class is 50 EUR, and for each additional class, 150 EUR;
- 75% of your Estonian trademark application fees;
- 50% of your trademark application fees for registration outside the EU.
The application period is open until the 6th of December or until funds are exhausted.
To apply, the company has to fit the definition of an SME and submit a VAT registration certificate and a certificate from the bank.
