On July 10, Onkofest 2026 will begin, a support festival organised by Onkoloogika for cancer patients and their loved ones. The festival brings together people whose lives have been affected by a cancer diagnosis and offers practical advice, mental health support, experience-based guidance and a sense of community throughout the weekend.
Hedman is also contributing to this year’s Onkofest through a free legal clinic. On Saturday, Hedman associate Kaire Sepper and senior associate Hanne-Loore Mööl will provide on-site guidance on inheritance and employment law matters.
Illness may create a need to consider work arrangements, work capacity, the security of loved ones, asset-related decisions or future plans. Often, these questions are postponed because dealing with them feels complex or emotionally difficult. The purpose of the legal clinic is to offer clear and accessible initial guidance in an environment where people do not have to explain their situation at length or feel alone with their questions.
Hedman’s partner Toomas Seppel also serves on the advisory board of Onkoloogika.
In addition to the legal clinic, the Onkofest 2026 programme includes discussions, financial and nutrition counselling, mental health support, peer counselling, creative and movement-based activities, and community events.
A limited number of tickets are still available. Free tickets are also available for those whose illness has caused financial hardship.
