Hedman Partners advised Main Incubator GmbH in investing in the Estonian startup Fairown

Hedman Partners advised Main Incubator in conducting a seven-digit amount investment to the Estonian startup Fairown. The advisory included drawing up the necessary documents for the investment and regulation of shareholders’ relations, conducting the legal due diligence, and ensuring the fulfillment of the conditions precedents in the process.

Main Incubator is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Commerzbank focused on research & development and early-stage investments. Main incubator deals with future topics and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, cross reality, IoT, quantum computing, and many more.

Fairown is an Estonian start-up founded in 2018 by Hendrik Roosna and Taivo Türnpu which allows companies to move from linear to a circular economy by providing subscription-based financing platform and payment services. Fairown has developed a plug&play solution to allow their customers to offer physical products on a subscription basis and is currently active in the Nordics and Baltics.

Other investors participating in the round included primeCROWD, an Austrian syndicate for start-up investments, and Spring Capital, an Estonian seed fund focused on scalable technology-driven startups.
